WHAT IS TELE-REHAB 2.0?
Tele-Rehab 2.0 is a technology and process innovation project from the University of Alberta which began with an idea in 2015. Since then, the project has grown and is currently funded by Alberta Innovates. The project is a platform for developing and adopting virtual health technologies to support patients who need complex assessments while remaining in rural communities.
To innovate virtual health solutions and to advocate for an equitable and accessible future in healthcare.
WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?
The beauty of this rehab project is that we have the flexibility to be able to have patients back in and do a re-evaluation or another treatment if that's going to help them.
This is fantastic for them to have this machine; it was an extremely positive experience. The collaboration between my physiotherapist and the expert physiotherapist was fantastic; it's great for the patient, absolutely fantastic for the patient!
This project has made a huge difference in making it more straightforward in terms of accessing the expert clinicians and then being able to really connect our client to those clinicians as well.
WHAT IS A COLLABORATION PORTAL?
The collaboration portal is a space to engage with the project. Whether you are learning about the project for the first time, catching up on project progress, or trying to get involved in the project, everything you need to know about Tele-Rehab 2.0 is here.
