It's amazing the way trends can go from never-before-heard of to popping up everywhere! We just heard about this project by NorQuest College, Alberta Innovates, and Health City, and we're so excited by the potential it holds. Check out the video below to learn more.
This project is vastly different to the Tele-Rehab 2.0 project, but it's undeniable that the methodologies are connected. The potential impact on rural and remote patients through this kind of virtual health is incredible! Even though this service is missing the in depth sensors that Tele-Rehab 2.0 provides, we are encouraged by the feedback among the patients so far, and we have hope that technologies like this will soon be widely available to the general public so that all of our health care can be accessible, equitable, and effective.
